Our church, Livewire, had a Back to School Bash day at the beach. We gave away water, soda, hambergers, hotdogs, fruit and pulled pork.
We handed out water at 11am and told people we'd have food ready at 12:30pm. Just before 12:30 we already had a line. Shortly after the line went down toward the water and up the beach. We had to open both sides of the table up for people to get their food. It was a pretty steady flow of people for a good hour.
We had to leave at 2pm and it slowed down a little before we left.
Great time with friends, meeting new people and playing in the sun (granted it's summer time in Florida so it was HOT but with some shade, water and sunscreen we made it happen!)
