4th of July weekend!

Our July 4th weekend began with my sister Krystal, brother-in-law Brian, and their foster child Scott, all coming into town from Alabama. My sister is (29 weeks I think well now she'd be 30 weeks) pregnant with a little boy named Blake Daniel Casey. Her due date is Sept. 18th. So Friday, July 3rd we thru her a little baby shower with all her friends and family that live down here in Florida. All of us that miss her and are VERY excited to see her preggo belly!

This is my grandmother, Sharon Collier. She has been in the hospital or nursing home since the beginning of Feb. The hospital told us she was not going to make it and she did. Then they said if she did make it she'd be paralized on the left side of her body but she has been progressing with leaps and bounds at the nursing home. This Friday, July 3rd grandma was discharged from the nursing home and was able to come to Krystal's baby shower. It was such an honor and a miracle that she was there. We had her pray over Krystal, Brian and baby Blake. It was a very powerful prayer and touching moment for everyone there. There were quite a few tears. Grandma would brag about her great grandbabies "on the way" every time we'd go to the nursing home. Since she was able to get out this day, she will have been able to attend all 7 of her great grandbabies baby showers. It was a very special day!
