We ended our fun filled day at my parents house. We ate lots of yummy food, fed ducks, went fishing, watched the sunset and then settled inside by the pool and watched the fireworks litterally right over our heads. My parents neighbors next door and directly across the lake had tons of professional fireworks and entertained us for hours.

There were no special effects done to take this picture. I was inside the a/c house and came outside where it was humid and hot and my lense fogged up. It made for a BEAUTIFUL picture!Kristina loves to go fishing at Grandpa's house! We may have to get her her own pole soon.

Kristina has been afraid of fireworks in years past, so this year she wanted to wear earplugs. She lasted longer than ever until all the fireworks were going off at once and got kinda loud. Then she went inside to "be safe". She had fun with all the glow jewelry and was proud of herself for watching some of the firework show. We were proud of her too. I think it helped having Grandpa to snuggle with. :) I know "Apa" loved every minute of it!
