Easter Sunday egg hunting and Bar-B-Q after church.

The girls on Easter Sunday doing some more egg hunting. This time Vanessa knew exactly what to do so every time she'd pick up an egg she would try to open it and eat the candy. Daddy had to officially step in and cut her off after the 3rd egg and had her just put them in the basket. It was cute how she remembered. Kristina found eggs and even a few prizes.

Kristina had a lot of fun this day. She jumped in a bounce house, made some friends, played some games, hugged the bunny after some hesitation, and hunted eggs (well, picked them up) with daddy! At the end of the day her words were, "Mommy, I had fun!"






Vanessa had never been egg hunting before but when she saw all those egss on the grass she knew right away what she was supposed to do. Ben had to hold her back until they blew the whistle. Then she was off and had a lot of fun. She wanted to do it again each time they put more out for the other age groups. The funny part was that she had no idea there was candy in them until after Kristina went and started opening hers and asking if she could eat the candy. Then Vanessa forgot about collecting more eggs and just wanted to eat the candy. She had a lot of fun as well.
